I still have relatives in Viet Nam. Sometimes I write a letter to them. Last year, on my birthday,  my cousin gave me a lacquer painting.  He sent it by mail. A few month later,  I sent him a few gifts from America.  My cousin is grown already and has three children.  He lets/makes them study English.   For Vietnamese people, English is very important now. He asked me to let them practice English with me when I go to Viet Nam to visit. I'll take some English language books to them for a gift.
