Harry is a student of Vietnamese economics who studies at Yale Univeristy. During the holidays he went to Hawaii to visit a friend. He did not tell the friend beforehand. He wanted to surprise him.   His friend, Jim is also a student. Jim studies Vietnamese language at the University of Hawaii, and he also is on holidays/has a holiday.  In Hawaii Harry looks for Jim's address. He knocks on the door.  A Vietnamese man opens the door.  Harry, surprised, thinks he has the wrong house. He asks:
bulletExcuse me, this is Kapahhuly street, isn't it?
bulletYes, - The Vietnammese man answers.
bulletIsn't this house No.12?
bulletYes.
Harry, pleased, asks further:
bulletSo this is Jim's house, isn't it?
bulletYes, I live with Jim, - the Vietnamese man answers.
bulletIs Jim home?
bulletNo, he isn't.
bulletSo where has he gone?
bulletHe went to the Mainland (already).
bulletHe went to the Mainland! What did he go (to the Mainland) for, do you know?
bulletHe's on summer vacation, so he went to the Mainland to visit a friend named Harry.
