Thailand is a country which abounds in all kinds of vegetation,	ประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศที่อุดม-สมบูรณ์ไปด้วยพืชทุกชนิด
from vegetables, beans, and rice to various [kinds] of fruit.	ตั้งแต่ผัก ถั่ว ข้าว จนถึงผลไม้ ต่างๆ
In these times foreigners are likely to be well aware of the importance of Thailand,	ชาวต่างประเทศสมัยนี้ย่อมทราบ ถึง ความสำคัญของประเทศ ไทยดี
both in the way of commerce and natural resources.	ทั้งในทางพานิชย์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ
Thailand is a small country situated on the Indo-Chinese Peninsula between [French] Indo-China and Burma.	ประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศเล็กๆตั้ง อยู่บนแหลมทองระหว่าง อินโดจีนและพม่า
It has a great deal of rice, rubber, tin, and tungsten, [all of] which are important products.	มีข้าว ยาง ดีบุกและวุลแฟรมเป็น อันมาก ซึ่งเป็นสินค้าสำคัญ
The Thai people are a peace-loving people, not liking to make war;	คนไทยเป็นคนชอบความสงบ ไม่ชอบทำสงคราม
so they do not have a large army for the defense of the country.	จึงไม่มีกองทัพใหญ่โตไว้สำหรับ ป้องกันประเทศ
Foreigners who have come to Thailand like the Thai people a lot, because we receive them well.	ชาวต่างประเทศที่เคยมาเที่ยว ในเมืองไทยชอบคนไทยมาก เพราะเราต้อนรับเขาดี
We have many wonderful things to show [to the visitor].	เรามีของแปลกๆไว้อวดหลาย อย่าง
The things which are the most interesting are the ancient objects and the various wats which the people of olden times fashioned with exquisite care.	สิ่งที่น่าอวดที่สุดก็คือวัตถุโบราณและวัดวาอารามต่างๆซึ่งคนสมัยก่อนได้สร้างสรรค์อย่าง ปราณีต
Besides this, there are many places to go which give enjoyment to those who find and see them.	นอกจากนั้นยังมีที่เที่ยวหลาย แห่งซึ่งให้ความสดชื่นแก่ผู้ที่ ได้พบและได้เห็น
When they have gone back to their [own] country, they will not be able to forget the pleasantness and beauty of	เมื่อเขากลับประเทศไปแล้วเขา จะลืมความสดชื่นสวยงามของประเทศไทยเสียไม่ได้เลย
Moreover, we have the good will to love all the peoples of the world ('all the friends sharing our world').	ยิ่งกว่านั้นเรายังมีน้ำใจรักเพื่อน ร่วมโลกของเราทุกคนเป็น อย่างดี
We provide comfort and convenience for everyone who stays in our country.	เราให้ความสะดวกสบายแก่ ทุกคน ทุกคนที่อยู่ในประเทศ ของเรา
There has never yet been a foreigner who, having come to stay in Thailand, got bored and went away.	ยังไม่เคยมีชาวต่างประเทศที่ เข้ามาอยู่ในประเทศไทยแล้ว เบื่อกลับออกไปเลย
All this shows how much we love and respect our friends.	ทั้งนี้แสดงให้เห็นว่าเรารักและ นับถือเพื่อนของเราเพียงไร
Thailand is a Buddhist country ('is a country which believes in the Buddhist religion').	ประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศที่ นับถือ พระพุทธศาสนา
As a consequence most people have gentle manners ('politeness') and fear sin;	ชาวเมืองจึงมีความสุภาพ- อ่อนโยนและกลัวบาปกรรมอยู่ เป็นส่วนมาก
they practice no deceit toward anyone.	จึงไม่มีความคดโกงต่อใคร
It follows then that if foreigners have a good understanding of the Thai people,	อย่างไรก็ตามถ้าชาวต่างประเทศทราบนิสัยของคนไทยดีแล้ว
our fellowship will keep increasing day by day.	นับวันเราจะเพิ่มความสนิทสนม กันยิ่งขึ้น
