Point 5. Some uses of tε$ּg
The basic meaning of tε$ּg is 'to be broken, get broken, break (by itself)'. It cannot be used alone when you wish to tell who broke what. In this sense it must be used with tham and the combination tham ... tε$ּg means 'to break ...'.
Note also that tε$ּg cannot be used everywhere where 'break' or 'broken' is used in English; the Thai word refers only to dishes or things made of glass, in other words, things that can be smashed.
