Point 7:
The use of  tha2N  with lE2?

English ภาษาไทย
  In Bangkok they have
  both
automobiles and

streetcars.
  ในกรุงเทพ เขามีทั้งรถยนต์และ
  รถราง
  Prāsėd¸ Prāsә̀ˇd, and Prāsŏŋ

are all going abroad.
  ทั้งนายประสิทธิ์ นายประเสริฐ
  และนายประสงค์กำลังจะไปต่าง
  ประเทศ

When only two things are mentioned the expression
tha2N...lE2? .... means "both....and...."; if more than two things are mentioned, however, the English equivalent omits the translation of tha2N or else translates it as "all" but inserts the "all" in a different position from what is has in Thai. Note carefully that when you wish to say "......,......, and ..." in Thai, the whole expression must be preceded by tha2N, as in the second example above.
