• compare and contrast weather conditions here in the US and in Southeast Asia;

• compare and contrast articles of clothing used in different weather conditions;

• debate and discuss with others topics related to the theme; e.g. flooding, etc.

• read narratives and answer comprehension questions related to the topic.
