Events and Activities
The Southeast Asian Culture Nights are events where the public can learn about and experience a variety of cultural elements such as dances, food, songs, music, travelogues, and games from various Southeast Asian countries. Southeast Asian Culture Nights are free and open to the public. Southeast Asian Culture Nights are sponsored and funded by the NIU Center for Southeast Asian Studies, the NIU Student Association, NIU Campus Activities Board and members from the NIU community. The Culture Nights are normally held at the Newman Student Center at 512 Normal Road (downstairs) which is one block north of the Campus Life Building.
