It's been two months since Indonesian President B.J. Habibie assumed power. Despite his claims of social and economic progress, the country continues to free fall. Inflation is rampant, the rupiah is plunging, unemployment is skyrocketing. Armed attacks against the ethnic Chinese minority continue and the government appears powerless to stop them.
