ADJECTIVES DAN LAIN-LAIN

NOTE:  This is meant to give some examples of vocabulary and word order/sentence structure.  It isn't everything you need to know.

1. Sekolah itu besar sekali!  Ada tiga puluh guru dan seribu tujuh puluh enam murid.
 		 1.  That school is very big!  There are 30 teachers and 1076 pupils.
2. Kucing guru saya gemuk dan ramah.
 		 2. My teacher's cat  is fat and friendly.
3.  Guru ramah saya tidak tinggi.
 		 3.  My friendly teacher is not tall.
4.  Mahasiswa tinggi itu bukan orang pandai. Dia goblok.
 		 4.  That tall (university) student is not a smart person.  He/She is stupid.
5.  Matt adalah murid nakal.
 		 5.  Matt is a naughty pupil.
6.  Orang yang kurus dan pendek itu sangat suka bermain bulu tangkis.

6a. Orang kurus yang pendek itu sangat suka bermain bulu tangkis.
 

 6.  That person who is thin and short very much likes playing badminton.

6a.  That thin person who is short very much likes playing badminton.
7.  Orang-orang yang tua dan kecil benci bermain bola basket.
 		 7.  People who are old and small hate playing basket ball.
8.  Kegemaran orang muda itu mendengakan musik pop.
 		 8.  That young person's hobby is listening to pop music.
9.  Bill Gates sangat kaya.  Guru-guru Bahasa Indonesia lebih miskin. 9.  Bill Gates is very rich.  Indonesian teachers are more poor.
10.  Pada tanggal empat bulan November ada Pemilihan Umum di Amerika.
 		 10.  On November 4 there is a General Election (= "Choosing General") in America.
11.  Kita akan memilih presiden yang keberapa?
 		 11.  We will choose which number president?
12.  Kita akan memilih presiden yang keempatpuluh empat.
 		 12.  We will choose the 44th president.
