READING

You will read this word ပုံပြင် as [poun pjin] when you are reading as it is written, but it is sometimes read or said [poun bjin] and sometimes [poun mjin].  Notice that the consonant [p] that follows the nasalized dipthong changes to the nasalized consonant [m].  Nasalization of the consonant following after a nasalized vowel usually occurs when a speaker says a word fast.
