VOICING AND GLOTTALIZED VOWELS

You have just finished learning four vowels- အစ် [iq], အက် [eq], အတ်/အပ်[aq], အွတ်/အွပ်[uq]- known as glottalized vowels. In the Lessons 23- 26, you will notice that the same consonant is read differently depending on what type of vowel it follows.  Compare the sound of the consonants which are preceded by the glottalized vowels and non-glotallized vowels again.
