Take a day trip to Makahambus Cave and Gorge. Appreciate the panorama of the sprawling city below, or descent 40 meters into a lush gorge watered by an underground spring.

Trek across the Malasag Nature Trail, a scenic reforestation area with panoramic views of the city. Or go for a swim at the city's popular swimming holes, Catanico Falls and Lawndale Springs Resort


Catanico Falls - Concealed by huge boulders, the rapids, cascading falls and natural pool of Barangay F.S. Catanico. Only 20 minutes by car and 45 minutes by foot from the city center.

Makahambus Cave - Explore underground caves and a 130-foot circular gorge. The ravine is thick with various species of plants and huge trees.

Malasag Reforestration Area - Rolling hills ideal for horseback riding, mountain climbing/biking. Sunrise and sunset are best in the hills of Malasag where one has a panoramic view of the city and the bay.

Beaches - A stretch of beautiful beaches line the city's coasts. The bay is also ideal for windsurfing and jetskiing.

Parks - Within the poblacion are three beautiful parks shades by age-old acacia and mahogany trees. (Gaston, McArthur, Golden Friendship).

Xavier University Folk Museum - An array of relics from the Bukidnon and Maranao Culture.

Shell Museum - For shell lovers and those who appreciate art and the sea, the Sontillano Collection features like the Haitian Tree Snail, Pink-mouthed Murex and Conus Ammirales located at the City Library Building, A. Velez Street.

Seminary Hill - San Jose Seminary, St. John Vianney Seminary, Carmelite Convent, Located in Camaman-an, South Eastern portion of the city.
