Monday Meeting Minutes

October 4, 2004

5:00-6:00 pm, HSC 503

Attendance: Dom, Krissy, Carolina, Luke, Kristen, Mary, Sri, Michael

Carolina: went to mandatory organization meeting last week

-         Pepsi grant: they will provide clubs with drinks for their events – we should do this!

-         We can not place an ad with the Northern Star until our account with them is settled

Culture Night venues:

-         Thai Night: St. Paul’s

-         All Southeast Asia Night: Newman

-         Philippine Night: St. Paul’s

-         Keep your eyes open for alternate venues!  How about Altgeld?

Indonesia Night: 10/8

-         Elvi and the food are good to go

-         Food helpers: Luke, Mike, Matt: be at Elvi’s between 2 & 2:30

-         A/V equipment has been ordered

-         Coolers: bring your coolers! (Carolina)

-         Krissy: get ice on Friday; ask Jason C. to bring his cooler

-         Someone get in touch with Sam about the guitar accompaniment!

-         Keep looking for guitar players!

-         Kristen: get change for the cash box on Friday

-         Set up: Mary, Jenn, Kristen: start at 2:00

-         Clean up: Lee; Michelle à please stick around to help with clean up!!!

-         Selling food: Kristen & Krissy

-         Selling drinks: Lee & Michelle

-         Jenn: bring member list, drink sign, and tape

-         Dom: bring drinks; pick up A/V equipment
