Monday Meeting Minutes

5:00-6:30 pm, HSC 503

Attendance: Katie, Krissy, Mary, Luke, Carolina, Kristen, Matt, Dom, Jenny, Mike Celis, Lee, Jason J., Michael, Jenn

PAISA: Luke is waiting for responses from the PSA, VSA, and PAISA

Carolina: the Northern Star is still not paid; they will be sending us an itemized bill so we can find a payment solution

New Officers:

-         Internal Vice President: Krissy Saldi

-         Treasurer: Kristen Knapp

Organizational Expo: 9/16

-         11:00am-3:00pm

-         in the park by the dorms

Change in Club dues:

-         New dues for this semester will be $5 for students, $10 for faculty/staff

Dom: write solicitation letter

Jenn: revise and reprint member forms

Carolina: go to mandatory SA organization meeting either 9/28 or 9/29

Culture Nights:

-         Indonesia Night: 10/8

o       We have a cook; Mary’s working on settling the food and prices

o       Venue: Episcopal Church?

o       Dom: order spoons, forks, napkins from Nancy; evaluate the soda situation

o       Mary: buy food boxes

o       Krissy: get candy

o       Acts: gamelan; Dan and Sara?; Pak Ngurah?; Dom’s wayang?

-         Thai Night: 11/19 or 12

o       No venue as of yet

o       Food: Yui?

-         All Southeast Asia Night

o       Venue: Newman Center

-         Philippine Night

o       Venue: Newman Center

-         Other possible venues: field house; outside
