Kartun ini menggambarkan situasi ironis yang tengah terjadi di propinsi termuda Indonesia Timor Timur. Kereta api ini melukiskan perjalanan nasib Indonesia sebagi sebuah negara bangsa. Gerbong terakhir adalah Timor Timur. Didalam gerbong itu terdapat kelompok yang pro otonomi dan yang pro referendum. Kelompok pro-referendum sepertinya telah melepas kait ke gerbong lainnya (kereta api itu).

(Autonomy)
This cartoon portrays the irony that existed in the youngest province of Indonesia, East Timor. The train indicates the fate of Indonesia as a nation state. The last car is East Timor. Inside this car there is a group which is pro-referendum and group which supports autonomy. It seems like the group which is pro-referendum has released the chain that connected this car to other cars (the train).
