Ada gula, ada semut:  This sounds a little like our proverb: "where there's smoke there's fire" but it's really different.  Our proverb says that one visible thing implies the existence of another hidden thing.

This says that certain things (people, animals, etc.) are naturally attracted to some other thing (food, money, etc.)
